~Freeman Family Blog~: Durango, Colorado....

We just got back from skiing and we all are so sad and want to go back! We had such an awesome time! We can't wait for next year, but will probably go someplace a little bit closer! That was such a LONG drive! It was probably made worse with 3 kids in the back! But it was all worth it, Purgatory is such a fun mountain to ski! Ben and I got engaged in Durango 10 years ago, so it was fun to go back! The boys took 3 days of ski school and loved every minute of it, It was really fun to watch them progress every day, Ella did great in the child care and we got to watch my mom and dad learn how to ski for the first time, I got to try snowboarding and had such an awesome time skiing with Ben and my sisters! Wish we were there now...

The previous weeks before we got there, Durango just got dumped on! LOTS of snow! The icicles were so long!

This was our motto for the week...

This was hilarouis! My dad has never been skiing before, and he was so excited! The question of the day was...."what goggles am I going to wear today?" Even if they didn't ski, he still wore them around the house!
