An Engagement Party...

Sunday afternoon, we had an engagement party

for Paul and Ashley (one of my sisters)...

It was really nice to be a part of such a celebration.

I still can't believe that she's getting married,

I mean, I know the time was a comin, but still...

the gorgeous and yummy cake...
they did ALOT of mingling!

so many people wanted to see her ring, she quickly obliged:)The "main event" of the party, was for Paul and Ashley

to "tell their story" of how it all began...

then they showed a video of the actual engagment which included
a special video from paul, a blindfold, a helicopter, some horses,
a long trail, a red carpet and tiki torches...
sounds fun huh!
It was alot of fun to watch!
Ashley with Ben and Ella Bella...

yes, I know Ben is pretty tan at the moment,

the man just got back from the Virgin Islands
he has a very rough life as a pilot...
Paul trying to get Ella to come to him...it didn't work..

she will in due time!

The happy couple and my boys...my mom and pastor Sharon, Pauls' mom, with Paul and Ashley Aunt Terri was REALLY excited for Ashley...

we ended the party with a prayer over Paul and Ashley,

then everyone started to cheer for them...
